If you follow LPO Beauty on Pinterest, you know I like to do quick and dirty reviews. However, not everyone is as obsessed with Pinterest as me and my friends are, and sometimes it’s nicer to give just a little more info. Thus, The Lowdown with Liz was born. This is the first of many posts which will detail the essentials of the products I’ve tested.

NIA24 Rapid Depigmentation Serum

Source: Tested as Bloom.com Beauty Ambassador

Retail Price: $75

Pros: Felt nice on skin, light smell

Cons: Saw no major visible results over 12-week trial period, with twice a day use

Overall: 2/7 rating (that’s right, The Lowdown From Liz will be based on a scale of 7 because 5 and 10 are WAY overused)

Comments: So far, I have not been impressed with most of the dark spot correctors I’ve tried (Philosophy being the exception.) I would much rather invest in microdermabrasion or chemical peel products. I’ve never been good at science, but to me it makes much more sense to get rid of the old layers of skin than to try to fade the spots on them.
